This chapter presents manifestations of climate change as experienced by minority farmer communities in the three districts of Binga, Bulilima and Beitbridge. Strategies used by these communities to cope with climate change and climate variability are presented as expressed by the communities. The chapter discusses livelihoods constraints experienced by farmer communities in their endeavours to cope with climate change. Communities’ assessment of sustainability and impacts of government intervention programmes and policies to mediate impacts of climate are highlighted. Roles and contributions of non-governmental organisations are presented in light of communities’ developmental aspirations.en_US
