Maize plant (Zea mays) as a source of potential adsorrbents: a review

Abstract

Maize plant (Zea maize), provides one of the most staple food in most countries, in recent times, the non edible parts of the maize plant have attracted much interest as source of petential low cost adsorbents. These non-edible parts are currently discarded as wastes in most developing countries.
